I’m Chetan Ganatra, born and raised in Kolkata, shaped by an entrepreneurial legacy but transformed by life itself.

For years, I followed the expected path — education, family business, stability. But in 2021, life hit pause. A severe battle with COVID-19 followed by a heart attack changed everything. It forced me to rethink not just how I live… but what I consume, and what I contribute.

That moment became the turning point.

At 37, I co-founded Theplaco with my sister, brother-in-law, and a close friend — not just as a restaurant, but as a mission. What started as a simple idea of healthy eating has grown into a vibrant space serving 150+ dishes, blending the soulful flavors of Gujarat with the comforting essence of Kolkata.

At Theplaco, every ingredient has intention. Freshness, hygiene, and nourishment aren’t buzzwords for us — they’re non-negotiables. From wholesome theplas to flavour-packed chaats, every plate is designed to satisfy your cravings without compromising your health.

Behind this journey is also my strongest support system — my wife, Forum Tanna, whose constant belief and strength made this dream possible.
