I have a request for all of you—please read this blog with full attention. I’m keeping it short because, in today’s age of endless scrolling and reels, I know finding time to read isn’t always easy. Am I right? Jokes aside, if you’re here, it’s important to remember just how crucial it is to take care of your health and fitness. Today, everyone seems to want to be fit—but these are often the same people you’ll find in a cloud of smoke at a bar late at night. For most, fitness seriousness seems to only appear on the first day of the month or every Monday. And if you look around, you’ll notice just how many people aren’t truly fit but think they’re healthy. Take a closer look at the people around you, and you’ll see the reality. Many people feel motivated after hearing or reading about fitness, but this enthusiasm usually fades within a week or a month. Even at the gym, you’ll see that some members hop between four different gyms in a year, always chasing a new start. That, right there, is proof of how many people resist building good, consistent habits, relying instead on medications to get by. But today, I won’t focus on that. Instead, I want to celebrate the individuals who make exercise and physical activity a daily part of their lives. I want to set some examples for those who stay committed and take their fitness seriously. This brings me to today’s topic: exploring the fascinating similarities between the human body and a car engine. Stay tuned—you’ll gain a whole new perspective on fitness! The human body is priceless and cannot be compared to any material thing, nor can it be bought, no matter how wealthy you are. Today, many people have a lot of money, property, and material comforts, but we often see that they lack peace of mind and good physical health. It doesn’t matter if you drive a BMW, a Rolls-Royce, or a simple Maruti 800. The model or brand of car isn’t what’s important; what matters is whether there’s fuel in the tank. Our bodies are the same. It doesn’t matter if you are tall, short, rich, or poor—these differences are all on the surface. The body you have is unique, and it wasn’t given to you in exchange for anything. Like a car needs fuel, your body needs energy, which comes from regular exercise and healthy eating. Without these, just like a car without fuel, the body won’t work well. Think about how you get your car serviced regularly. You do this to keep it running smoothly and avoid breakdowns on the road. Our bodies need regular care, too. If not, they might “break down” at crucial moments, just like a car might. For example, just as you press the brakes in a car to slow down, it’s important to “press pause” on junk food and unhealthy habits for your health. And like you add oil to keep your car’s engine running smoothly, you need to avoid harmful habits like smoking that can “scratch” or “damage” your body’s system. Do you take care of your body with the same attention you give to your car? Just like regular maintenance keeps a car’s airbags ready for emergencies, taking care of your health ensures that your body is strong enough to handle challenges. Health issues like diabetes, high blood pressure, and cancer are often signs of neglect. This blog isn’t meant to scare you; it’s just a reminder to stay aware. Some truths don’t change. For example, I know that reading this blog may not make a smoker or drinker stop immediately—they might just skip over it. But if you’re reading this, take it as a reminder.
